JH Cross Country Teams Excel at HAPS District Championship

The 2020 JH XC season came to an end at the HAPS district championship held at Providence Classical. Our Lions did what they’ve done all season- they competed and walked away with incredible performances. The boys claimed the 1st place team title and the girls ran to a second place team finish. Amazing results! On an individual performance level- Aidan Rivers and Charlotte Freeman both dominated and ran away as first place overall individuals in their respective race. Other stellar individual finishers were Eric Sipko, 2nd overall male, and Layne Bautz, 6th place male. On the girls side, Sarah McLemore did what she set out to do all season and walked away with a personal best time and awesome finish. Sydney McNeil also executed the race plan flawlessly and had her top finish of the season. What an amazing season for the JH XC team! Way to go Lions! The Legacy cross country teams are coached by Casey Clark, Miles Freeman, and Joanna Jones.
