Legacy JH Cross Country Excels at District Championship

The Lions JH boys XC team got after it today and ran to their 2nd district championship in two years. Every point mattered as they secured victory by the thinnest of margins beating the second place team by 1 point. 8th grader Eric Sipko placed 1st overall male and 7th grader Layne Bautz medaled with a 7th place finish. On the girls side, Izzy Jones and Sarah Haglin claimed individual medals placing 5th and 10th respectively. Autumn Elkins missed medaling by 1 spot in the girls and Zach Haglin missed by 2 places. Today concluded the JH XC season and what a great way to finish!!! Way to go Lions!!
