What are you enjoying about your college experience?
Hanging out with my roommates and working out with one of my friends.

How do you feel your time at Legacy helped prepare you for college?
I got used to the college class system, where classes alternate days. I also learned how to take notes during the lecture/class.

How was your adjustment to the college schedule based on coming from a university-model school?
The biggest difference was the fact that classes take place from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. so the school day is literally all day. I could schedule my classes according to what worked with my schedule. For instance, I had a class at 3:30 p.m. on Monday and Wednesday. So, on Sunday and Tuesday night I could stay up later than normal getting work done and sleep later the next morning.

What are some of your fond memories/favorite experiences while at Legacy?
Making playoffs in basketball twice.

If you had to describe Legacy in one or two sentences to somebody, what would you say?
Legacy is a university-model school that puts God first. The school hires Christian teachers, provide a college like work load, and is a family at its center.

How does your spiritual life play a role in your college experience?
I do not take part in the typical college experience because I am set in my morals.

Do you feel Legacy helped to grow you spiritually and for doing God’s work?
Yes, they helped me be a light for those who haven’t heard about God before.

Is there anything else you would like to share with Legacy families or those interested in Legacy?
If you’re looking for a place that distances itself from the public-school system, puts God first, and prepares you for the college courses, then go to Legacy.
