LPCA Varsity Volleyball

The Legacy varsity volleyball team hosted Allen Academy on Tuesday and kept neck in neck with them for 5 matches but came up with a loss. The girls felt partially defeated but also felt a fresh start going into district for the second time.
On Thursday, both JV and Varsity traveled to Providence Classical Academy for the start of the second district round. In the beginning, they found a rhythm and kept it up but sadly, came up short in the first set. The second set however, they were down 20-11 and fought until the score was 25-22- another loss. There were difficulties and in the third set, the loss was upon them. Even though they struggled, new coach Jim “Smoki” Richardson said, “It was a tough night and although we still have our issues you showed much improvement. I appreciate all of your hard work. We will continue to persevere to become the best we can be, I know you have it within you. Keep it up and we will find success.”
The girls are playing at home Tuesday 10/10 at 6 pm (JV) & 7 pm (V) and would love your support! Make posters and get your roar on!! Go Lions!
