Upper School Assistant Principal

Hello! My name is Cassandra Yearwood and I’m excited to serve the Legacy community as the new Upper School Assistant Principal. A little about me…I have been married to my husband, Robert, for 16 years. We have two children, Kayla and Christian, who both attend Legacy in 8th and 10th grade, respectively. We are members of Impact Church of The Woodlands where my husband serves as an associate pastor. I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree in Applied Learning and Development with a mathematics specialization from The University of Texas at Austin (Hook ‘em Horns) and my Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction-Mathematics Education from The University of Houston-Main Campus. My professional passions are teaching and walking along side other teachers. I love spending time with my family and watching football, basketball, and softball. My favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11, For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”.
