Where Faith & Learning Meet

Middle school is a time of transition- a time of physical, emotional, spiritual, and academic growth and development. Our Middle School integrates challenging academic standards and a Christian worldview, allowing our students to reason critically and act biblically. Instruction is provided by professionally qualified and spiritually– equipped staff, who are called by God to leadership in a Christian school.

All courses- Bible, Language Arts, Mathematics, History and Science- are designed to develop and instill a biblical worldview in each student along with cultivating a desire to be a lifelong learner. This is accomplished through a learning environment fostering biblical immersion, purposeful instruction, high academic standards, authentic relationships, Christ-like character, critical thinking skills, and active learning.

Welcome from Legacy’s Upper School Principal

One of the hallmarks of LPCA is our solid academic program, designed to engage students actively in the learning process. We recognize that education is about transmitting knowledge and fostering a love for learning that lasts a lifetime. Our teachers are passionate about their subjects and infuse each class with the gospel, providing students with a solid foundation rooted in godly values. All students have God-given gifts and abilities to be discovered through the learning process, and strong relationships between staff and students allow for better discovery of those talents.

Beyond academic excellence, LPCA is known for being a welcoming community. Through initiatives such as chapels, student-led groups, community service projects, etc., we encourage students to develop spiritual disciplines that lead to a life committed to Christ. We aim to orient the heart of the student toward God by cultivating a love for others through the academic and extra-curricular activities of the Legacy community. Prayerfully, students will proclaim, “Here Am I. Send Me!” (Is. 6:8)

Welcome to Legacy! I am excited to be the Upper School Principal for grades 5-12. It is a great joy to be able to walk alongside each child as they grow in faith and academics. I truly believe each child is designed by God for a unique purpose, and it is a privilege to partner with parents toward each student’s success and fulfillment. 
 
At LPCA, we believe children are designed by God to be discipled and guided by their parents, and our goal is to work hand-in-hand with families to build the very best educational opportunities and foster strong spiritual growth for every student. Together, we hold the highest standard of academic excellence and create a joyful classroom environment that is saturated in a Biblical worldview. 
 
What stands out the most about LPCA? Every class is a discipleship class, every day. Our teachers bring the highest level of academic rigor to each class so that each Legacy graduate is more than college ready. But more importantly, our teachers and staff are committed to showcasing the rule of God, the authority of His Word, and the beauty of His creation in every activity, lesson, and interaction with students. Our aim is to be distinctly Christ-centered and Biblically grounded in all that we do.

Our Middle School Program Offers

Biblical Worldview

Incorporates a Biblical worldview in all subject areas.

Extracurriculars

Provides various extra-curricular activities: FOIL-Theater Arts drama, orchestra, robotics, athletics, NJHS, art club, a Washington DC trip, and grade-level socials/activities.

Core Subjects

Offers the core subjects of math, science, language arts, history, and discipleship. These classes are complemented by optional elective studies in computer, physical education, art, photography, health, speech, math lab, robotics, and foreign language. Course Catalog

Builds the Bridge

Builds the bridge between elementary and high school, boosting student confidence and preparing them for more responsibility in life.

Service Projects

Facilitates service projects through SALT (Service and Leadership Team) that promote community engagement.

Parental Involvement

Teaches the critical skill of applying biblical truths to everyday life situations while valuing and utilizing parental involvement for the betterment of our school.
