Chief Operating Officer
My husband and I were born and raised in south Louisiana. In August of 2006, we transferred to Texas. This was an extremely difficult move for me having grown up very near and dear to family and friends. Soon after our move, I began looking for a job to get plugged in and meet new friends. Ironically, I met Audra May at the ballpark and we instantly became friends. Hearing of her vision of the school and her learning of my desire to find a job, I interviewed and began working at Legacy in November of 2006. Legacy is such a blessing to me and has brought so much more than just a job. It has ignited a passion in me to provide a loving, caring, safe and unique environment for our families and students to attend school, receive a great education and grow in their Christian faith.
I met and married my husband Brian in 1991. God has blessed us with four beautiful children (Barrett, Ethan, Molly and Wyatt) who keep us happily busy. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, cooking, crafting, sewing and running. I have completed 2 marathons and several half-marathons and am planning on more races in my future. Running has shown not only to be a way to improve my physical health, strengthen my friendships but to grow my faith. It is through running and the quiet time that I am able to have my most intimate conversations with the Lord.
The bible verse that I attempt to live by daily and instill in my children, is Luke 6:31 “Do to other as you would have them do to you.” Otherwise known as The Golden Rule.
