Legacy Track Teams Excel at State Meet

Legacy track teams capped off an epic season! The girls and boys teams both finished state runner up out of 25 schools that competed in the TAPPS 4A State Track meet in Waco. This is the best team finish in Legacy history for the boys team, and the girls showed they are annual contenders for the title. Event state champions include- boys high jump, Luke Sigler; girls 1600m and 3200m runs, Charlotte Freeman; and the girls 4×400 relay team- Mary Wittmer, Layla Faysal, Molly Steed and Julianne Carr- who set a new school record. Congratulations on a job well done!! Go Lions!
