Application Process and Timeline
When to Apply
The 2019-2020 application is now available. Please check under the Admissions tab for the link.
We accept Pre-K – 12th grade applications for each fall semester and 5th – 11th grade applications for each spring semester, if there is space available. The first mandatory step in the application process is to attend one of our Informational Meetings. Please see the “Information for Prospective Families” tab for a schedule of upcoming meetings.
How to Apply
Step 1: Attend an informational meeting. This is the first mandatory step in the application process.
Step 2: Submit an application via the Legacy Prep website at www.legacypca.org. You will find the online application under the Admissions tab. You will complete the application and pay the application fee online. All application fees are non-refundable.
Step 3: Submit all supplemental documents listed on the application. Your application will not be processed until all supplemental documentation is received, including the following: Recommendation forms are linked in the bullet points below.

Step 4: Complete an entrance exam. You will be sent a link to sign up for placement testing.
Step 5: Attend a family interview. Once your file is complete, it will be forwarded to the Admissions Committee for their review. You will be contacted by an individual from the Admissions Committee to schedule your family interview.
Step 6: Learn of your acceptance status. After your family interview has been completed, you will be notified of your acceptance status. If accepted, you will receive a registration packet including instructions for proceeding with enrollment at Legacy.

Note: Every student at Legacy Christian Preparatory Academy must be immunized against vaccine preventable diseases caused by infectious agents in accordance with the immunization schedule adopted by the Texas Department of State Health Services. A student who fails to present the required evidence shall not be allowed attendance until proof of vaccination has been submitted. Should evidence be withheld or not provided, the student will eventually be withdrawn from Legacy in a timeline of the school’s discretion. The only exception to the requirement is a medical exemption signed by a licensed physician (M.D. or D.O.) authorized to practice in the State of Texas.
Immunization records must be provided to Health Services before student’s first day of attendance.
