Legacy Cross Country Team Excels at State Meet


The Legacy Prep Christian Academy Lions XC teams “rose up” at the 2021 TAPPS State XC meet with some outstanding performances. The Lady Lions claimed their 2nd State XC title in 3 years and the boys team finished on the podium for the 3rd year in a row.

Charlotte Freeman 4th, Aubrey Davis 8th, Morgan Singletary 20th, Hannah Grace Bryant 24th, Audrey Sipko 28th, Layla Faysal 43rd and Brooklyn Clark 60th gave all they had to bring home the championship.

The boys team of Aidan Rivers 5th, Carter Hutton 21st, Carson Keyes 22nd, Brennan Clark 25th, Gage Gerwick 30th, Jarred Morgan 31st and Luke Henson 32nd represented the Lions with courage and honor.

Three of the Lions – Charlotte Freeman, Aubrey Davis and Aidan Rivers earned all state honors by finishing in the top 10 individuals in their respective race.

The Lady Lions future looks bright as they will graduate 1 senior and the boys will expect success from a young stable of athletes as they graduate 6. Congrats to the Lions XC team on an amazing 2021 season!!! Go Lions!
